Tulip Inn Majan Hotel and Suites Salalah

This is my 2nd time staying here and the experience with the staff just gets better and better.

Wish there were more channels in English but that's it

Reception blocked my card 2 or three times, n I had to approach them every timeI went out

Room

Staff especially the guy who was present at reception. My kids were playing near the reception area. He scolded them. He is working in the hospitality business and he doesn't know how to talk with kids. Very rude. We have booked breakfast but out of 3 days , 2 days they don't provide the buffet breakfast. They were giving 1 or 2 options to choose from.

everything specially staff Mr Sarath and Mr vimal they are so helpfull and always smiling and ready to help.

Food is slightly overpriced. Room had a bad odor

The Room has one mirror in toilet only.  The AC drops water on TV table. swimming pool close at 7 PM.

The daily cleaning of rooms, food,the location is far away from noiseniss and near to city center.

Not enough parking lots.

Good location and big rooms. Breakfast buffet had a lot of options. The staff were friendly and overall the experience was pleasant.

Our suite had a weird smell when we entered (probably due to the humidity).

The location is in the industrial area.High price. Very tight basement parking.Last day, there was no hot water in the bathroom.

It is very close to the airport. The hotel restaurant food was good and not expensive.

There is no refrigerator in the kitchen. It is small one in the bedroom.The swimming pool did not have heater.

1- I'd recommend better quality cupboards.2- Mini Kitchens should be more equipped.

the kitchen isn't equipped with utensils. (house keeper provided us with plates, bowls nd glasses)v.small refrigerator (although we arrived late, they gratefully provided us either large refrigerator as we are on special dirt and being our food with us).

Breakfast Indian items were not that of good quality. Coffee often did not workChef one day made a special effort to make Indian Parate. During diwali I did not find any special food while lightings were there.

I did not like anything and I regret reserving at that hotel for my family as well as my sister's family. I really ruined our vacation for both families. I did not visit Salalah for almost 6 years and we were happy to be there again after a long time.

There are a lot of things: 1. We arrived at the hotel at 11:30 pm. So, we waited for the Philipines lady to check us into the rooms. First, we were surprised by the amount that we must pay for the hotel because it was different in the booking. my husband asked about the room's rate and how is different from the booking, she was rude and impatience to explain and she ignore all the other guests who are standing beside us.2. The rooms that were given are wrong and we asked to change the rooms two times.3. The cleaners were looking at us all the time as well as at my daughters instead of cleaning. Also, the cleaning was not good and the bedsheet was not changed till our check out. Also, the cleaners start to come late at 9:30 pm since there are not enough workers.4. The noise was continuous in the upper rooms.5. The food in the restaurant was dirty, I found an insect in the lettuce two times. furthermore, a fly in the Nutella two times also.6. The flies were everywhere in the restaurant and we could not eat in peace.7. The most annoying part is the hot water, they cut the hot water from the rooms for three days. so we could not shower with hot water.8. The suite doors were not closing properly.9. The wifi was also cut for almost a day.10. There is no follow-up with our requests. we requested an extra blanket from the employee in the reception who instead asked us to call the Cafe?! 11. The ac was hot and not working well.12. The suite did not have a fridge or plates except a microwave.I do not think it is a four-star hotel.I have been in an apartment with all the problems I faced. so we decided to extend our vacation in Salalah but in another hotel "Al Fanar Hotel" which really called a hotel.

The hotel is new to this location so it is very nice but nothing worth seeing in the local area. Staff was pleasant

They didn't receive my reservation from booking.com so I had to wait for them to verify my confirmation.
